Caring Event 2016 – Joyful Dinner - 17 December 2016

For the 7th consecutive year, ACRA Caring Committee and Open Door Ministries (開心社區服務) co-organized the Joyful dinner to continuously plant the seeds for caring those in needs. The joyful dinner was successfully held on 17 December 2016.

Over 50 volunteers from 2 organizations attended the dinner to celebrate Winter Solstice Festival with 200 elderlies in Lam Tin.

ACRA 55th Anniversary Dinner – 21 November 2016

The 55th Anniversary Dinner was successfully held on 21 November 2016 at InterContinental Hong Kong. The event featured a cocktail hour, seated dinner for over 600 guests and live performance. We also invited Ir Wai Chi Shing, JP, Managing Director of Urban Renewal Authority, as our Guest of Honour to join us celebrating the most important event of the year.

ACRA Caring Event – Happy Rice Delivery 2016 – 29 Oct 2016

Co-organised with Open Door Ministries, “Caring Event – Happy Rice Delivery 2016” will be held on Saturday, 29 October 2016 which aimed to deliver 100 bags of rice for the low-income elderly. Moreover, we are pleased to have GELEC (HK) Limited sponsor the LED lamps for this event.

Apart from the sponsorship, we need 100 nos of volunteers to visit the elderly for this caring event.

Caring Event 2016 – Fun Day with Children - 30 July 2016

2016 WorldSkills Hong Kong Competition (Refrigeration & Air-conditioning)- 23 - 24 June 2016

ACRA was invited by Vocational Training Council, Electrical and Mechanical Services Training Board (EMTB) to serve as assessors in the 2016 WorldSkills Hong Kong Competition (Refrigeration & Air-conditioning) held on 23rd and 24th June 2016 in the VTC Pokfulam Complex.

The assessor group was formed by industry experts from our 6 members include BYME, REC, Krueger, Shinryo, Shun Hing, and Young’s. Thanks for their contribution to the success of the competition.

Joint Technical Visit to CR EXPO 2016 in Beijing– 6-9 Apr 2016

ACRA, ASHRAE Hong Kong Chapter, HKAEE, HKRVCA are jointly organizing a 4-day technical visit from 6 to 9 April 2016 to Beijing. In this occasion, our visiting team will visit the China Refrigeration Expo 2016 and some job sites as well as factories.

The maximum number of participants is 30 and application will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. HFC and Blend Type Refrigerants License Training - 30 Jan 2016

Dear members,

We would like to organize a revision course for registered workers who had successfully completed the training courses previously held for Workers in Handling HFC & Blend Type Refrigerant for ArchSD projects. In this revision course, an update of the current development of refrigerants and a refreshment of the training materials will be conducted. Details are as follows:-
