ACRA 54th Anniversary Dinner – 23 Nov 2015 |
The 54th Anniversary Dinner was successfully held on 23th November 2015 at JW Marriott Hotel. The event featured a cocktail hour, seated dinner for over 600 guests and live performance. We also invited Mr Wong Kam Sing, JP, Secretary for the Environment, as our Guest of Honour to join us celebrating the most important event of the year.

Comprehensive Certificate Course on HVAC&R Systems in Buildings 2015 - 22 Sep to 3 Nov 2015 |
We are pleased to inform you that the Comprehensive Certificate Course on HVAC&R Systems in Buildings 2015, which is jointly organized by The Hong Kong Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Association Ltd. (ACRA), ASHRAE Hong Kong Chapter (ASHRAE-HKC), The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers-Building Service Division (HKIE-BSD), Building Services Operation and Maintenance Executives Society (BSOMES) & The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers-Hong Kong Branch (CIBSE-HKB), will be held from 22 Sep to 3 Nov 2015 (every Tue & Thu).
This course is designed to broaden knowledge of engineers in relation to Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation Systems and is useful for young engineers and practitioners who want to refresh / acquire knowledge in different perspectives.

ACRA Caring Event - Fan Delivery ‘涼風送暖’ – 25 July 2015 |
Jointly organized by ACRA Caring Committee and Caritas Community Centre-Ngau Tau Kok, Fan Delivery (涼風送暖) was held successfully on 25 July 2015 to render warm and care to low-income households in Kwun Tong.
We thank you very much for our member, Mitsubishi Electric (Hong Kong) Limited, generous sponsor of 100 pcs of Fan. ACRA mobilized 100 volunteers to visit 100 households. The volunteers delivered their warmth and care, as well as gifts to them.
The households being visited were cheerful in receiving the warmth and fans brought by volunteers.

A fun night out on 3 Jun 2015 at Happy Valley Racecourse! In addition to the on-track thrills, the evening’s excitement also included authentic delicacies and fine wine.

JOINT TECHNICAL VISIT TO CR EXPO 2015 in Shanghai – 7-10 Apr 2015 |
ACRA, ASHRAE Hong Kong Chapter, HKAEE & HKRVCA are jointly organized a technical visit from 7 to 10 April 2015 for 4 days to Shanghai PRC. In this occasion, our visiting team will visit the China Refrigeration Expo 2015 and some job sites and factories which are in liaison for confirmation. China Refrigeration today has developed to become an exhibition for international HVAC&R market, which attracts not only local but also overseas exhibitors and participants from more than 30 countries and regions. This is an opportunity for the members to explore the technical exchange and development of the technology, product standards and market trend of the industry.
The maximum number of participants is 30 and application will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. HFC and Blend Type Refrigerants License Training - 31 Jan 2015 |
