President Message

Ir M. T. Law
President (2022-2024)

Welcome to the website of the Hong Kong Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Association (ACRA).

I’m greatly honoured to be elected President of ACRA and I’m pleased to take up this great responsibility to lead the council to promote our association and enhance our leading position in the industry.

The past two years of pandemic has brought multiple challenges to Hong Kong. It’s now time for us to resume our normal lives and work. We therefore should work more proactively to enhance our task forces in bringing up young talents, promoting our professionalism to the government and industry stakeholders, exploring opportunities for members in the Greater Bay Area, enhancing productivity through MiMEP and advanced technologies, and providing training classes to frontline workforce on important topics such as next generation refrigeration development, practice on mildly flammable refrigerant and reinforcement training in thermal insulation installation.

Synergy could be achieved when we work together. The support from you, our members, would be key to our success in promoting, developing and sustaining the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry. Our mission of fostering technical excellence, promoting our association to the public and attracting more young people to develop a career in our industry would highly rely on your recognition and contribution in the coming years.

I therefore would like to work with you towards this shared vision and join hands together to serve and build a better future for Hong Kong.

Through this website, I wish to maintain good communication with all of you and connect together to share our perspectives and pursue initiatives to enhance the position of our association in the long-term development of the construction industry.
